Daniel Buttrey is a photo-based artist living and working in Connecticut. He holds a BFA in studio art from the University of Connecticut and earned his MFA in photography from the University of Hartford in 2008.
He works as the lab manager for the School of Fine Arts at the University of Connecticut and teaches photography, analog and digital, at area colleges. A self-professed color nerd with a reverence for the print, books are his favorite method of consumption.
